On the 29th of May, the French press and local elected representatives of the city were invited to celebrate the opening of InterContinental Lyon-Hôtel-Dieu. Créations Métaphores was there.
The opening of InterContinental Lyon today comes after an extensive four-year restoration of one of the city’s most iconic buildings, the former hospital ‘Hôtel Dieu’. The largest private transformation of a historic monument carried out in France. The project was led by the interior designer Jean-Philippe Nuel who focused on maintaining the original beauty and architecture of the building whilst offering a contemporary design.
A few days before its opening to the public, the French press and local elected representatives of the city, including Gerard Collomb, were invited to see the building. Laurent Belot and Dominique Bourguignon, Créations Métaphores’ ambassadors, took part of the site visit to introduce the fabrics.
